Register to join us via Zoom: lawrence.bibliocommons.com/events/5f669c812cb8826401be96f0
Read Louise Erdrich’s novel “The Round House” on your own or with your book club and join Lawrence Public Library and Spencer Museum staff and community leaders to discuss themes in the book through works of art in the Museum’s collection. “The Round House” transports readers to the Ojibwe reservation in North Dakota and tells the story of a boy on the cusp of adulthood who seeks justice and understanding in the wake of a terrible crime that transforms his family. The National Endowment for the Arts Big Read/Read Across Lawrence program invites the Lawrence community to share in the experience of reading the same book and engage in discussions and events about the issues presented in the book.
