DESCRIPTION:Visit the Spencer on Thursday, December 28, between 10AM and 2PM to take a break from the holiday hustle and prepare for a joyous new year. Bring friends and family, or stroll the galleries solo! Please note that outside of this event, the Spencer will be closed December 24 through January 1 along with the rest of KU. At 11AM or 1PM, enjoy a tour of Black Writing and Reading the World led by Curator for Research Joey Orr (both exhibitions close January 7). Tours will last approximately 1 hour. Our membership team will be on hand to share how membership at the Spencer Museum keeps all of our exhibitions, events, and parking free and accessible to all.
