An Earth in the Making:
A Writing Contest

What is our planet now, and what might it become?

Visiting artist Andrew S. Yang invites local undergraduate, high school, and middle school students to respond to these questions. One winning submission in each group will be selected and made available at the Spencer Museum of Art during the run of the knowledges exhibition as part of Yang’s installations exploring the Earth’s past, present, and future.

Undergraduate: 1,500 word limit / $750 prize
High School: 1,000 word limit / $300 prize
Middle School: 750 word limit / $150 prize
