Food & Drink
Food and drink are only permitted in the Museum lobby. They are prohibited in the galleries and educational spaces.
Backpacks, large bags, and umbrellas must be stored in the coat room. Lockers are available. These lockers are not appropriate secure storage for handguns. Individuals who choose to carry a concealed handgun must plan their day accordingly and transfer their handgun to an approved secured storage device in their residence or locked vehicle before arriving to use these lockers.
Sketching & Writing
We encourage visitors to sketch and write in the galleries using pencil. All other media are prohibited. Pencils and writing/drawing boards are available at the Welcome Desk.
We welcome photography without flash for personal use and with the expectation that images will be used in a way that is consistent with the rights of the artists. Some works on display may not be photographed because of copyright restrictions. Please ask at the Welcome Desk for more information or check with the nearest security officer. Tripods and other professional equipment are prohibited without advance permission.
Wheelchairs & Strollers
Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome in the Museum.
