Spring 2022
Computer Science & Visual Arts
Emma Nasseri is a sophomore from Topeka, Kansas, studying computer science and visual arts. She is a University Scholar and software development intern with Security Benefit. As the Spring 2022 Undergraduate Research Fellow she will be working with Faculty Research Fellow Perry Alexander to investigate blockchain technology and creatively analyze the parallels between blockchain and human history. She will aid in the development of an installation around these themes involving the work of nationally recognized artists that will be exhibited in 2023. Emma is passionate about intersecting and integrating the technical and the creative, and she is grateful for the opportunity to promote these ideas in an artistic and academic environment.
