Artist bio

A peripatetic artist since Romania’s opening to foreign travel in 1989, Dan Perjovschi (b. 1961) participates in projects around the world. While largely grounded in his Sibiu studio during Covid-19, he continues his daily drawing practice and continues to share his incisive art through a variety of international platforms. Using his signature black marker, Perjovschi often combines pithy images and words for powerful commentary on current social, political, economic situations, both regional and global.
