September 18ALLYSHIP WITH UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS: A COMMUNITY WORKSHOP
SPENCER MUSEUM OF ART, AUDITORIUM, 309
Responsible “allyship” requires solidarity and action. Learn how to practice allyship with undocumented immigrants in the U.S. through knowledge, awareness, reflection, and action. The workshop is led by CLACS and OMA faculty and staff who work with and respond to the needs of marginalized students, staff, and faculty at KU. This workshop is for our community and open to all; however, the subject matter, including case studies and other examples, will be of particular interest to those who are affiliated with education settings.
