Senior Session A Coat of Many Colors: Central Asian Ikat Garments

Join the Museum’s affiliate research curator Mary Dusenbury for a discussion about a 19th century ikat coat from Bukhara and several 21st century Central Asian ikat textiles, and the trajectory between them, as well as contemporary production of these boldly patterned and colorful textiles. Senior Sessions are designed for senior citizens but open to everyone.
