INDIGENOUS ARTS INITIATIVE LEDGER ART WORKSHOP: LOW BROW AND LEDGER ART WITH CHRIS PAPPAN, DAY 2

Registration is open for a two-day workshop on ledger art with artist Chris Pappan. On day two, participants will take a field trip to Council Grove, Kansas, and Allegawaho Memorial Heritage Park, the new home of the Sacred Red Rock. Participants can explore the park, sketch on site, or take photos of the Sacred Red Rock and other features of the park to draw from later. Some supplies and paper will be provided and participants are welcome to bring their preferred art supplies. This workshop is offered through the Indigenous Arts Initiative, a partnership of the Kansas Arts Commission, KU Film and Media Studies, the Spencer Museum, and the Lied Center.
