Ansel Adam's inspirational photographs of the American wilderness reveal the depth of his feelings for his subjects, particularly the national monuments of the west. Thirty-two photographs printed by Adams make up this exhibition organized by Thomas W. Southall at the Spencer Museum of Art. Ten photographs are from Adams' Portfolio V, acquired by the museum in the 1970s, and 22 are from The Museum Set, which includes gifts and promised gifts from Terry J. and Sally S. Sutcliffe. this exhibition is a Mid-America Arts Alliance program.
