Schedule a visit

There are several ways for university classes to engage with us, all of which are free.

You can:

  • Co-design a university curricular session with us. We offer in-person, remote, and blended experiences.
  • Facilitate your own self-guided group visit to the Museum.
  • Examine works not currently on display in one of our dedicated study centers.
  • Engage with works currently on view in our galleries.

Please contact us at least three weeks in advance, even if you plan to be self-guided, to arrange a class session. This is so we can ensure there is enough space in the galleries on the day, and that there is someone to welcome and orient you when you arrive.

Testimonial

"I have been looking over my students' responses and it is clear that the opportunity to look at works from the collection up close was an exciting experience for them. I always enjoy seeing how their first-hand observations enrich their writing about art."

Our study and learning centers

Our three study and learning centers—the Ingrid & J.K. Lee Study Center, the Stephen H. Goddard Study Center, and the Jack & Lavon Brosseau Center for Learning—provide students up-close access to works from our collection that aren’t currently displayed in exhibitions.

Borrow our art for your classroom

We have a lending collection of more than 300 objects that go out on short-term loan to many schools and universities. We're experienced at matching your curricular objectives to art from our lending collection.
