Study and Learning Centers
We have three dedicated learning and study centers that are available for educators and classes by advance request. These spaces allow classes and small groups to engage with artworks from our collection with customized close looking opportunities.
Study and learning center details

Ingrid & J.K. Lee Study Center
- Serves university and K–12 classes and makes teaching and research visible to all visitors
- View works up close for your classes
- Best for classes structured around larger and 3D works from our collection, such as textiles, ceramics, and folding screens
- Equipped with a projector to support small-scale programs
- Maximum capacity: 50 people

Stephen H. Goddard Study Center
- Serves university and K–12 classes
- On most Fridays all visitors are invited in without an appointment to request works on paper related to their interests
- View works up close for your classes
- Best for classes structured around works on paper from our collection
- Equipped with a projector to support class sessions
- Maximum capacity: 20 people

Jack & Lavon Brosseau Center for Learning
- Features new installations monthly that relate to teaching and research across KU
- Accessible to general Museum visitors
- Best for classes structured around viewing a group of works during a short period of time
- Equipped with a projector to support small-scale programs
- Maximum capacity: 40 people
