Green Hammock by Ke-Sook Lee

Hear artist Ke-Sook Lee tell the story of her sculpture Green Hammock, which is made of used US Army nurse uniforms from the Vietnam War. While growing up in Korea, Lee learned needlework from her grandmother and great-grandmother. Her work draws inspiration from her roots in two countries, as well as from her work as a professional artist, mother, homemaker, and gardener.
