Event description

Moderated by Curator Cassandra Mesick Braun, this is the fourth in a series of conversations with artists in the exhibition "Healing, Knowing, Seeing the Body." This final session will focus on artist Andrew Carnie's collaborative work with four regional artists that examines the non-medical effects of organ transplants and explores notions of anonymity, consent, and responsibility. In the first half, the artists introduce their work. In the second half, we invite you to join the conversation. To experience the exhibition before it closes on May 16, make a reservation to visit the galleries at https://www.spencerart.ku.edu/plan-your-visit#reservation or explore the virtual version at https://www.spencerart.ku.edu/virtual-exhibition/healing-knowing-seeing-body. This event includes live closed captions in English.
