Spencer Museum Curator Cassandra Mesick Braun and art therapist Cara Weeks Neuburger co-facilitate this session about how art can promote well-being, adaptability, and self-care. Mesick Braun will lead an exploration of a newly commissioned artwork on view in the Spencer’s exhibition “Healing, Knowing, Seeing the Body,” offering an opportunity for pause, reflection, and contemplation. Weeks Neuburger will then guide participants through an art-making activity to promote creative ways of self-care. No special materials are required.
