Art Cart: Quilting Time

The Art Cart is a drop-in activity station where families and other groups can enjoy hands-on art projects together, taking inspiration from the works on view in the Museum's galleries. For this month's Art Cart activity, families and other groups will look closely at quilts in the exhibition "Personal Geometry: Quilts by Yoshiko Jinzenji and Virginia Jean Cox Mitchell." Participants will then use the materials provided to create a small quilt block in mixed media. The Art Cart may be enjoyed free of cost every weekend at the Spencer. Parking is free behind the Museum on weekends.
