Doug Bergstrom

Doug has worked at the Spencer Museum since 2005. As Exhibition Designer, he ensures the safe and effective display of works within the Museum’s collection and collaborates with artists whose works are loaned for exhibition. He designs and builds mounts, pedestals, and frames and prepares other aspects of exhibition design, including painting, lighting, and setting up video, sound, and digital displays. Doug’s interests include staying up-to-date on new technologies that are used in contemporary art. He has a BFA in sculpture from the University of Maryland and has completed coursework in engineering and interactive design at the University of Minnesota and KU.
