Ten Haitian paintings and metal relief sculptures loaned from the collection of Harry and Mary Lou Hughes, Lawrence, were exhibited in the Study Gallery. The images ranged from birds and flowers to everyday life scenes to voodoo saints and demons. Artists represented included Andre Pierre, whose works were in the Ante America exhibition at the Spencer in the Spring of 1994.
