Baghdad, Algeria, the Nile, Java ("only 36 hours from Singapore"), Sorrento, and Berwick-upon-Tweed-- exotic destinations beckon in these posters commissioned by travel bureaus, railways, and shipping lines. Most of the lushly colored scenes in the 30 posters in the exhibition are lithographs, ranging selected from the Museum's collection.
