Label texts

Archive Label: “We were married 31 years ago (1965) and it was that Christmas we were up in Rochester and it was after that that he did that painting.” (Miriam Green) “This particular area of Rochester they call ‘the can of worms’ because of all of these different highways going different directions. There’s one going where the yellow line is, you see there’s a truck going in there and that opens out to another approach and that goes across and it has a street coming down around from there down on to this level and that one goes up to the right further, I don’t know where that connects. I did this from memory. I did it not in Rochester, but after I came back.”
