Organized in conjunction with the exhibition The Power and Pleasure of Possessions in Korean Painted Screens, this conference brings together art historians and curators from the United States and abroad to forge new inroads into the burgeoning scholarly field of color painting traditions. The conference provides a valuable public forum to enhance understanding and appreciation of this important field to University scholars, students, and the general public.
