NEH Landmarks: Native American and African American Education in Kansas: Welcome Remarks and Introduction to the Workshop

Saralyn Reece Hardy will open the workshop by introducing you to the Spencer Museum of Art, the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and the workshop’s co-directors Cassandra (Casey) Mesick Braun and Celka Straughn. Casey and Celka will then provide an overview of the coming week’s events, work with you to jointly lay out community expectations and guidelines for our workshop week, and introduce curricular specialist Dr. Connor Warner.
