Children's art workshop with artist Faith Ringgold

In conjunction with the African American Quilt Conference in Lawrence, renowned artist Faith Ringgold will lead a special workshop for children ages 8-11 on the theme of ancestors on Thursday July 13th. Children will have an opportunity to think about their ancestors and then create fabric portrait squares. This event is free and all materials are provided.
