Edgar Heap of Birds

Internationally renowned artist Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds will speak about his public art and studio practice, including his work on display in the Spencer Museum's exhibition "The Power of Place: KU Alumni Artists." Heap of Birds will specifically discuss the five works from his "Native Host" sign series installed in front of the Spencer Museum of Art. This is a qualifying event for students pursuing the Arts Engagement certificate.
