Join us for a Summer Teaching Intensive at the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas in Lawrence with K-12 teachers from Saline, Ottawa and McPherson Counties July 10th 10am-7pm and 11th 8am-4pm Room, board, and travel stipend provided Gain skills to integrate Asian art in your curriculum to increase global awareness and empathy Collaborate with colleagues to develop new lesson plans and resources to use in your classroom Receive lesson plans, digital resources, books, and classroom materials to support your teaching In conjunction with the Spencer Museum of Art, the Salina Art Center will host an exhibition of artworks related to this project in January-March 2020. Participating teachers are encouraged to taken advantage of this opportunity. Field trip scholarships will be available. Limited space is available.
