Summer Teaching Workshop

Join K–12 teachers from Lawrence and the surrounding areas at the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas this summer to learn about incorporating Asian art in classroom teaching. • Immerse yourself in Asian art and cultural experiences with area experts • Gain skills to integrate Asian art into your curriculum to increase global awareness and empathy • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new lesson plans and resources to use in your classroom • Receive lesson plans, digital resources, books, and classroom materials to support your teaching • Snacks and lunch provided Limited space is available.
