Backyard Bash: Conference of the Creatives
Event date, time, and location
Event description
Join the student artists featured in Conference of the Birds for an informal tour and conversation about their research and designs. Conference of the Birds is an installation of sculptural nests created by KU students, commissioned by the Museum, and integrated into the landscape of Marvin Grove as part of the Museum's 5th Annual Backyard Bash. The artists are graduate and undergraduate students representing architecture, physics, social welfare, and visual art. To observe social distancing, students will be positioned near their work to speak with attendees. Attendees are invited to move freely among the installations. Masks are required. In the event of inclement weather, check here and our social media for updates.
