Virtual Zine Club: Minding the Body: Systems of Self

The self is in a constant state of flux. Life is full of in-between moments and our identities are as layered and interconnected as our biological systems. Join guest artist and Spencer Visitor Experience Specialist Sabine Rishell to experiment with materials and ideas about the body to create your own zine. Sabine will share examples from the Spencer’s exhibition "Healing, Knowing, Seeing the Body" to help inspire you if you’ve got zinester’s block. Virtual Zine Club is a supportive space to connect and create in community. Guest artists guide each session with a theme, however you can work on any project of your choice. You can request a free zine kit when you register. Kits/recommended materials include scissors, glue stick, magazine for collaging, scrap/craft paper, and plain white paper.
