KU Faculty Interdisciplinary Teaching Seminar

The plan is to discuss how we can use art/artifacts/historical events to encourage students to engage big questions across disciplinary boundaries. I’m also hoping we can at least start the dialog about who has access to certain stories and how to handle some of those difficult conversations. As mentioned in the previous e-mail, we will have 10 faculty members plus Benjamin and me during the 45-ish minute visit, and our primary focus will be on the Emmett Till installation, although suggestions for other Spencer resources are certainly welcome as part of the conversation!
