study Anacreon by J. B. Le Prince (58.109). She is writing a book on Anacreon and related topics and asked to meet with me about the painting (calling just a few minutes before she arrived). I was glad I was here and able to meet with her. We met in front of the painting (on display in the 18c gallery) and I shared some information and ideas. We will keep in touch as she continues her studies. She was in Oklahoma visiting family and made a special trip here to see the painting and the SMA, and enjoyed all.
