Senior Session: SMA intern Chassica Kirchhoff on Conversation XII: Crafting Continuities

Chassica Kirchhoff, Andrew W. Mellon Intern in the Spencer's Department of Prints & Drawings, will speak on Crafting Continuities -- the 20/21 Gallery "Conversation" installation that she organized. Kirchhoff, a Springfield, Mo., doctoral student in the history of art, says the installation considers the integral role so-called "craft media" have played in the trajectory of 20th-century art. This popular series of informal gallery discussions is designed for senior citizens but open to everyone.
