The Spencer Museum of Art is teaming again with Watkins Community Museum of History to host a Final Fridays reception in vibrant downtown Lawrence. The occasion celebrates the Watkins exhibition Cause and Commitment: A Heritage of Activism in Douglas County, which connects directly to and is on view concurrently with the Spencer exhibition Prepared: Strategies for Activists, the International Artist-in-Residency project of Chinese artist Chen Shaoxiong.
