Indigenous Arts Initiative: Chris Pappan Artist Talk

Artist Chris Pappan (Kaw, Osage, Lakota), whose work is featured in “Native Fashion” and our collection galleries, speaks about his ledger art practice. Pappan's work reflects distorted perceptions of Native peoples and is inspired by alternative magazines, underground comics, punk rock, and hot rod culture. He is a co-founder of the Center for Native Futures in Chicago.
