Saturday Art Adventure: Reverse Glass Painting

Families are invited to join artist Jessica Lea Johnson for an in-gallery exploration of how contemporary African artists use reverse glass painting to share their histories and cultures. After this stimulating tour, groups will make their own paintings to take home. This activity is best suited for families with children ages 5-8, but open to anyone. NOTE: Due to a citywide bicycle race this Saturday, parts of Mississippi Street will be closed to traffic, but the parking garage across the street from the Spencer will remain open and accessible via Jayhawk Boulevard
