Watershed
Event date, time, and location
Event description
Rex Buchanan, deputy director of the Kansas Geological Survey, moderates this town hall-style conversation about water use and consumption in Kansas. The program kicks off in the galleries, where curator Kate Meyer will be present for informal dialogue in the "Water" exhibition featuring works by modern and contemporary artists. Topics for discussion as the event moves to Central Court include how (and how much) water affects daily life in Kansas; to what extent we are at a watershed moment, or turning point, when it comes to water usage and consumption; and whatever else community members wish to explore.
