Saturday Art Adventure: Dust in the Wind

Take a look at a gritty book created by Kansas artist Scott Jost as part of his attempt to remember a dust storm he witnessed, then create your own unconventional book using dirt, sand, sticks and rocks with help from artist Jessica Lea Johnson. Saturday Art Adventures are themed, family-friendly tours followed by art-making activities occuring the second Saturday of every month. This program is ideal families with children ages 5-8. Registration is not required. Please note: The parking lot behind the Museum will be closed this Saturday, October 12. The parking garage on Mississippi Street will be available at a rate of $1.50 per hour; free street parking is available as well. Visit KU Parking online for further information.
