Event description
To celebrate what would be William S. Burroughs' 100th birthday, students of poet and Assistant Professor Megan Kaminski present selected passages of Burroughs' writing. Poet Jim McCrary, who worked closely with Burroughs, concludes with reflections about Lawrence's famed former denizen and his contributions to the history of literature and radicalism. Immediately following, enjoy a slice of birthday cake and view works of art from the Burroughs estate showcased in the Museum's Teaching Gallery.
