Senior Session: Expanding the Canon

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Cassandra Mesick Braun, curator of global indigenous art, explores works in the exhibition The Object Speaks that fall outside of traditional artistic canons. Outsider art from the American south, Central Europe reverse-painting-on-glass, art populaire from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and engaged activist art from minority populations will be featured.
