Wendell Castle, known to many as the father of the art furniture movement, has been selected to receive an Honorary Doctor of Arts degree from his alma mater the University of Kansas. In acknowledgement of this great honor, four of his works from the Spencer’s permanent collection are on display in the 20/21 Gallery.
