Exhibition Label: "Constructions of Place: Architecture in Photography," Jan-1991, Erin Barnett Meyerowitz is well known for his colorful landscape photographs of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In this work, he focuses on the interplay between the crisp lines of the interior architecture and pale rays of sunlight to create a formally striking composition. Meyerowitz uses architecture to demonstrate his virtuosity and the ability of the camera to capture such minute differences in tone.
