Staging Shimomura

Kimiko Powers, together with her husband John, amassed one of the most comprehensive private collections of contemporary Pop Art. In 1972, Warhol completed a commissioned screen print of Kimiko Powers; however, the version used here to advertise Warhol’s show at Colorado State University was part of an edition to raise funds for a visual arts programs there.
