Archive Label 2003: In 1948, Kodak hired Ralph Bartholomew for an ad campaign geared towards the growing adolescent market. Bartholomew used non-professional models, showing them participating in “all-American” activities. His photographs captured the period of teenage innocence often associated with the post-World War II generation.
