Exhibition Label: “Big Shots: Andy Warhol, Celebrity Culture and the 1980s,” Aug-2009, Susan Earle This sheet from the 1981 multi-artist portfolio called Artifacts at the End of a Decade contains lists of song titles, drawn by the artist with felt-tip markers and then reproduced as an offset lithograph. Many of the songs were performed live at the celebrity nightclub Studio 54. The artist, Christopher Knowles, is portrayed elsewhere in this exhibition in a black-and-white photograph by Andy Warhol.
