Archive Label 2003: Heinrich Aldegrever emulated Dürer’s engraving style and technique and worked in the exact same size of Dürer’s small Engraved Passion. Aldegrever’s “AG” monogram was clearly inspired by Dürer’s famous “AD” monogram.
