Exhibition Label: "American Indian Art at the Spencer Museum," 6-Sep-2003 to 19-Oct-2003, Andrea Norris Woody Crumbo was born in Lexington, Oklahoma. He attended a government Indian school in Chilocco, Oklahoma; the American Indian Institute in Wichita, Kansas; the University of Wichita; and Oklahoma University. Known for his paintings, silk screens and etchings, he also painted murals in the Dept. of the Interior in Washington, DC. Many of his paintings are in the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa
