Seward was instrumental to this group’s formation; he was a charter member along with Charles Capps, Leo Courtney, Lloyd Foltz, Arthur Hall, Norma Bassett Hall, C.A. (Clarence Arnold) Hotvedt, Edmund Kopietz, Herschel Logan, and Birger Sandzén. Although the Prairie Print Makers began as a regional organization in 1930, the group’s membership quickly spread, eventually including associate members from all over the country who received a gift print as part of their five-dollar annual dues.
