Exhibition Label: "Charles Marshall, Artist on Site," Jun-2001, Cori Sherman This view can still be seen from the backyard of the Topeka home Marshall designed in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie Style. The house overlooks the river and the monumental grain elevators across the way. Marshall sketched this view almost every day, as he enjoyed waking to a new sunrise with a sketchbook close to hand. Today there are soccer fields in place of the wheat fields, but the structures remain.
