Exhibition Label: "Windmills to Workshops: Lawrence and the Visual Arts," Jul-2004, Kate Meyer Colette Bangert acknowledges the influence of nature in her drawings and watercolors. Grassland Series suggests the lyrical drift and sway of a field and the patterns that emerge from such seemingly chaotic phenomena. Her husband, fellow artist and computer specialist Jeff Bangert, shares this fascination with pattern, order, and organic line. Colette and Jeff, acknowledged pioneers in the specialized arena of computer art, have collaborated on many projects involving the interactions of computer graphics and "hand art.
