Exhibition Label: "Windmills to Workshops: Lawrence and the Visual Arts," Jul-2004, Kate Meyer Colette Bangert acknowledges the influence of nature in her drawings and watercolors. Grassland Series suggests the lyrical drift and sway of a field and the patterns that emerge from such seemingly chaotic phenomena. Her husband, fellow artist and computer specialist Jeff Bangert, shares this fascination with pattern, order, and organic line.
