Exhibition Label: "A Kansas Arts Sampler," Oct-2004, Kate Meyer A Prairie Print Maker who earned his living at Western Lithograph in Wichita, Foltz experimented with success in woodcut, etching, and lithography as well as watercolor. While this striking image of a train hugging the perimeter of a mountain slope is likely a Colorado locale, imagery of the railroad was a common motif in Foltz’s career.
